Photography is a lonely craft.
It doesn't have to be.

A community for pet photographers who want honest feedback,
real answers and people who actually get it. No gatekeeping, no performing,
no one selling you anything inside.

I'm interested

You shoot alone. You edit alone.
You guess alone.

Nobody close to you understands the craft. The questions pile up with no one to ask, and the days you doubt the work, there is nobody in the room who has been there.

The same five things, over and over

Before I built this, I asked pet photographers what was actually hard. These are the answers that came back the most. If any of them sound like you, this is where they get worked on out loud, with other people.

No one around gets it

You work alone, and nobody close to you understands the craft. So the questions pile up with no one to ask.

Turning it into income

Pricing, clients and what to say when someone asks how much. The jump from hobby to paid is its own wall.

Is the work actually good?

Friends and family say it is lovely. Nobody tells you why the light is flat or why the frame does not land, so you are left guessing.

Stuck on the edit

The colours never look quite right, and they look different on every screen. You can see the result you want in your head, you just cannot get there.

The people who should be your people

Rivalry instead of team spirit. Secrecy about locations and editing. Photographers in the same city who will not speak to each other. It knocks your confidence harder than any bad photo ever will.

What this actually is

A working room for pet photographers. Somewhere to put the image you are
unsure about, watch an edit taken apart properly, and ask the business question
you would not ask in public. What it is today is a starting point.

A place to be seen

Share your work and get real feedback from people who shoot the same thing.

A place to learn

Edits broken down properly,
from the first raw file
to the final image.

A place to grow a business

Pricing, clients, marketing, all the unglamorous parts nobody posts about.

Inside the community

Two ways in. The same people, different depth.

The Inner Circle

390 €

Per year. Launch price. Goes up to 440 EUR when the launch window closes.

Payable in two instalments if that helps.

Join THE INNER CIRCLE
Your price stays yours for as long as your membership runs, even when prices go up later.
The community does not even have a name yet.
That is not an oversight. The people who join first are naming it.
Because a room that belongs to all of us should not be christened by one person sitting alone.

How we behave here

Nobody gatekeeps

Not locations, not editing, not the name of the brush pack. If you know something useful, it goes in the pot.

Beginners are safe here

Honest feedback, delivered like a human. What works first, then one thing to try. Tearing apart someone who is still learning is the quickest way to be asked to leave.

Ask the question you think is stupid

Someone asked it last week. Nobody died.

Nobody is selling you anything inside

No sponsored posts, no upsells in the feed.
You paid to be here, that is enough.

Nobody performs

This is not a place to look impressive. It is a place to get better.

Hello, I am Veve

I studied anthropology, then spent a few years in corporate marketing until I left in 2019. In 2020 I started photographing dogs properly, and it turned into a business. Pet Photographer of the Year 2021, FEP Domesticated Animals 2024, and a lot of very muddy boots across Europe.

I am here every day. I start the conversations, answer what I can and keep the place running. But this is not my stage. The community stops being mine the day you join, and what it becomes is down to the people inside it.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. Most members are somewhere between keen hobbyist and semi professional.

Still yes. Your dogs count. Nobody is checking invoices at the door.

Circle. You can use it in a browser on desktop or through the Circle app on your phone.

Primarily English, with a dedicated Czech and Slovak space for those who prefer it. But I post everything in English and Slovak, so no one is left out :).

Yes, membership is annual.

Yes, any time, and you do it straight from inside Circle. When you upgrade, Circle works out how much of your current membership you have not used yet, credits that amount against the new price, and charges you only the difference. You never pay twice for the same period and nothing you have already paid gets lost.

I built this, and I am here every day running it. But this is not my stage. What it grows into is shaped by the people inside it, and it moves with their needs.

That is the fear I heard most often, usually from people currently paying for a community where nothing happens. So the place is built to run without me needing to post every day: weekly rituals, monthly challenges and a feedback rule where the people who ask for help give it too. If it ever goes quiet, that is my job to fix, and I will.

As much or as little as you want. Some people are in every day, some drop in once a month with one photo. Nothing here is compulsory, including the meetups. Being an introvert is not a disqualification.

Simple answer: No.

If you change your mind within 14 days of joining, just send me a message and I will refund you in full, no questions asked. After those 14 days your membership runs for the period you have paid for. You can cancel at any time and you keep full access until the end of that period, but the remaining time is not refunded. You will also get an email before your membership renews, so a renewal never takes you by surprise.

Come in, so neither of us has to hang around alone.
